RSRC is reserving the entire Davis Creek Group RV Campground for our exclusive use for three nights. This secluded, forested drive-in area is located in the northeast corner of the campground is equipped with picnic tables, large barbecue grill, benches around the group fire ring, 1 bear-proof food storage locker and a locking dumpster. Davis Creek is conveniently located just 15 minutes South of Reno, near Bowers Mansion, and has plenty of hiking, biking, fishing options nearby. The site allows for up to 50 people (**I will take a waiting list after 50 in case Covid restrictions are lifted**) and up to 15 RV’s (32 ft max) with lots of space for tents and other vehicles. This is dry camping (no hookups) and no defined individual camp sites…space is first come first served. The cost of the trip is “per person” not “per RV/tent” and because the cost is so low, there will not be a “day use/visitor” price…paid participants only in the campground please! Dogs are allowed, but owners are asked to keep dogs under control and be courteous to other campers. One group BBQ will be included, with everything but beverages provided.

While we had to do some adjusting due to the pandemic and West coast fires, we able to pull off a successful Davis Creek camping trip this year, and though the numbers were slightly lower than we initially expected, the enthusiasm was every bit as high as planned! 25 outdoor enthusiasts enjoyed a great weekend at the RV Group site, and we were able to make up for the “no fire” restriction by creatively huddling around some blazing solar lanterns. We had a great group BBQ, as always! Thank you to all who participated and I believe we will be able to make this an annual event!
