Membership
Welcome to the Reno Ski and Recreation Club Membership Page. The club’s membership year runs from December 1 st thru November 30. Current members can renew their membership beginning September 1 st and prospective members can sign up for the upcoming year beginning September 1 st as well. Half price memberships may be offered to those who join the club between June 1 st and September 1 st. Half price memberships will expire on November 30 th of the same year you join. Prospective members are welcome to attend any of our General meetings or TGIF’s to check us out. There will always be a member of our Board at these events with newsletters, membership information and application forms. Just look for the blue and white balloons. Half Price Membership – Recruit a Friend
Effective June 1 st, membership fees will be reduced to half price ($20.00 for Individual and 
$30.00 for Joint) for the third quarter of the membership year (June 1 st thru August 31 st). It is clear that one of our best sources of new members is friends and acquaintances of our own club members. So if you know someone who is interested in joining the club, or some one you have thought about inviting into the club, you can let them know that they can join for half price from June 1st through August 31 st. On September 1, 2010 current members and prospective members can renew or sign up for the new membership year (2010/2011) which will begin December 1, 2010.
SAY GOODBYE TO THE PRINTED
MEMBERSHIP ROSTER
Most of you are aware that the club has developed an on-line Membership Roster. Putting the club’s membership roster on-line solves the worst deficiency of a hard copy document which is that it is no longer current the day after it is sent to the printer. In an attempt to keep your Roster current, I’m sure some of you have taken the time to fill in by hand information for some members who have joined or renewed after the cutoff date for publication. As you recall, we perennially held off publication until late January or February trying to wait for as many of the procrastinators as we could. Now the membership roster on line is updated every time a member’s renewal is processed or a new member is added.
For those who need or want a hard copy, we find it can be printed easily. And, Kats Cannell, our webmaster is working on providing a new feature which will permit members to download the roster into Microsoft Excel which will then give you many opportunities to format the Roster the way you might like it.

Multiple Year Membership Option : As we have the past two years, we will offer a two-year membership option. This option reduces the amount of paperwork you have to process and will expedite the renewal process for members in the future.
Membership Benefits: Benefits include access to all club sponsored activities and events 
(some are restricted to members only), a monthly newsletter, a membership roster to help you keep in touch with friends, a hotline to provide you the latest information about what’s going on, an activities calendar that promises to keep you as busy as you like and an electronic Bulletin Board to help you find friends to share activities with you.
Membership Options: Both individual and joint memberships are available. Joint memberships are for two or more persons who share the same mailing address.
Membership Fees: Membership Fees are currently $40 for an Individual Membership and $60 for a Joint Membership.
